When you’re home, you don’t have to worry about what you look like, being on time, or what other people think of you. You can practice in whatever clothes you want, at whatever time you want, whatever way you want.
It’s pretty awesome how available yoga has become these days. As long as you have an internet connection, you can practice yoga. There are many websites offering online yoga classes–most for cheaper than traditional studios (and some for free).
The hard part is, a lot of these “online yoga studios” offer video classes that are rather intimidating and confusing for beginners. It can be hard to know where to start, and you may end up discouraged before you’ve really even begun.
Wouldn’t it be nice if there were a place that gave simple, step-by-step answers to all your yoga questions, such as:
What is yoga? What are the benefits of yoga? What do I need to get started? What are the basic poses and how do I do them? What are some simple sequences (ones I can remember on my own)? What are the non-physical aspects of yoga and how can I incorporate them into my life?
